Riot Games’ partnership with Tengjing Sports has seen League of Legends become something of an obsession among young Chinese audiences, with nearly 40% of all users in the country playing the game.
League of Legends Professional League (LPL) is a tournament that brings together the best players across the country, crowning the winning team before they go on to the world championships. For the 2019 LPL Spring Finals, Uniplan was brought on board to bring this event to life. The Uniplan team were presented with the challenge of translating the virtual experience of the game into an emotional moment for a live audience of 10,000 fans, as well as many more live streaming the event online.
