Digital transformation is one of the top topics at Deutsche Bahn.
But how do you explain technology in its complexity? From person to person. That's why Deutsche Bahn started a unique experience tour for its workforce as an internal training – carried out as a road show at 18 locations. The aim: to inspire employees to deal with technical innovations and their changes and to familiar with them in various hands-on activities. The result: More than 17,000 employees took part in the experience - it exceeded all expectations and was a complete success for Deutsche Bahn and for Uniplan.
How We Delivered
A New Virtual Experience.
We designed a concept that focused on face-to-face communication.
Main element: a 360 degree film that was experienced via VR glasses. In this elaborately produced, interactive video, three well-selected protagonists (representatives of the three target groups: office, technology and service sector) presented their ‘future projects’ from DB Group. In a playful way, everyone got to know the technical innovations and even more importantly: Deutsche Bahn created trust in the company and in future travel planning.
