The next generation of launch events
After the cancellation of the 2020 Geneva Motor Show, car manufacturers immediately needed to rethink and come up with innovative concepts to approach their target groups.
Smiling in the face of adversity, GAC partnered up with Uniplan to realise its first completely virtual launch in the history of the company. By intertwining technology and entertainment, the event became a successful platform for clients.
New challenges turn new beginnings
To adequately stage the reveal of GAC’s new GS8S, we used the newest augmented reality technology and freed ourselves from conventional space limits.
In doing so, we created a sophisticated story line which lead the viewers through the event – spotlighting the car from all its visual and technical sides and angles. The clever blend of a keynote and AR features as well as the possibility to directly interact with key opinion leaders during the event allowed the audience to have an immediate experience –from the comfort of their own home.
