Introduction
From technology to fashion
With continuous innovation in smartphone technology, the emergence of folding-screen smartphones has offered a new perspective, redefining the aesthetics.
Working with Uniplan, leading global smartphone brand Honor hosted a technology-themed fashion show at the historic 1862 shipyard in Shanghai. This event marked the official launch of the first Honor folding screen mobile phone, the Honor V Purse.
The challenge
Creating a tech-fashion extravaganza
Through the seamless integration of technology and fashion style, Honor has crafted a unique piece of wearable tech.
This device, the industry's first one-of-a-kind ‘folding screen purse phone’, challenges the conventional folding screen designs and will revolutionise the way users interact with their devices. Designed specifically to appeal to fashionable consumers, it provides a fresh and imaginative fusion of style and technology.
The challenge here was to create an event where a renowned smartphone brand could launch their newest project, increase their fashionable reputation and attract a new demographic of consumer in the process.
What We Did
Delivering an immersive station experience
As Honor's first foray into the fashion consumer market, the Honor V Purse held significant importance for the brand, symbolising both a milestone and a bold new venture.
Uniplan created an immersive space aligned with the product positioning. It included a fashion show and photo areas where celebrities, influencers, and the public could interact, generating content for Honor. With the event taking on the theme of a journey, the charming aesthetic of an old-fashioned train was employed. Every detail was thought about - from invitations that looked like train tickets to exhibition areas transformed into train carriages.
