Here at Uniplan, we have always believed in authenticity. This is why our approach to hiring and onboarding aims to give you a real taste of working with us.
We draw our strength from diversity, embracing the full spectrum of possibilities when it comes to gender, culture, professional background, career stages, and age. When you join us, you will work alongside agency people of all backgrounds, including transcultural communication experts, craftsmen and technicians, sustainability specialists, and many other professionals that will stimulate your desire to learn and work collaboratively on award-winning projects for some of the world’s top brands.
Because of our diversity and the work dynamics it implies, we don’t believe in fitting people into predefined roles. Instead, we focus on finding the right fit for each individual’s unique skill set and personality.
We’re looking for flexible, open-minded, enthusiastic people, who thrive in a collaborative environment. Being part of a diverse team means that you will be able to focus on your strengths while being involved in all aspects of each project and learning from people who are experts in their field. Our peer-to-peer collaboration model ensures that you won’t be alone when tackling challenging tasks, and you’ll gain valuable knowledge and experience from each project.
When it comes to our interview process, we like to make it personal, move fast, stay connected and be transparent all the way.
Typically, here at our European offices, we’ll offer two rounds of online interviews followed by an in-person meeting. We believe that meeting face-to-face is essential for both candidates and our team to get a real feel for working together. Our interviews are informal, and we give you plenty of space to tell us about your skills and interests. This allows us to know you as a person and understand what you are looking for so that we can find you the best fit. At the same time, we encourage you to ask questions and do the best we can to give you a full picture of the position we may offer, our agency culture and anything else you need to know. We always try to complete the entire process within two weeks, staying in touch with you every step of the way. If we couldn’t find the right role for you, we will ask for permission to keep your details in our talent pool and reach out to you again when new opportunities come up.
Joining Uniplan means becoming part of a team that stretches through eight locations across Europe and Asia.
Our onboarding process includes meeting colleagues from different teams and offices, and you may even have the opportunity to travel to our headquarters or other regional locations. You’ll be one of us from day one, enjoying full employee benefits during your probation period and plenty of opportunities to ask for feedback. The door is always open for discussing ideas, sharing concerns or simply having a chat. We also organize company events throughout the year to bring our team together locally, regionally, and globally, whether it’s a summer party in Cologne or an all-company virtual new year celebration.
